Greetings Lovejoy High School Stakeholders,
Welcome back to Lovejoy High School!
We are excited to begin another exceptional school year filled with rigorous instruction, vibrant extracurricular activities, dynamic academic clubs, and meaningful community engagement.
It is my sincere honor to serve as your Principal. Lovejoy High School is a special place - our name reflects the first two virtues of the fruit of the spirit: love and joy. We are more than a school in the community; we are a school for the community. You will see this reflected in the strength of our clubs, organizations, academics, arts, and athletic programs.
This year’s theme is Mission Possible: Rewriting the Narrative. We are excited about the positive changes and achievements ahead and invite you to help us share the great news. Starting the first week of school, you will receive a weekly communication highlighting the incredible things happening at Lovejoy. When you receive these updates, please help us amplify our message by sharing them widely. Together, we will strengthen the vital connection between school and community.
Open Communication
Strong communication with families is essential to our collective success. If you see or hear anything concerning—or if you simply have a question—please don’t hesitate to contact me directly at kelvin.griffin@clayton.k12.ga.us. Your voice matters. If I’m unaware of an issue, I can’t resolve it. Together, we can ensure every student has a positive and productive experience.
