PSAT Information

All scholars who are registered for the PSAT. Please arrive on Wed. Oct 14th by 7:30 a.m. with your mask, and picture ID. If you signed up for transportation you will receive an email today with a pickup time. Email Dr. Waring with any questions or call the front office.

9-Week Grades

The 9-week grades will be ready to view in IC on Tuesday, October 13th.

PBIS 

PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports) is designed to celebrate and honor our scholars for being excellent. We decided to continue with this event during virtual learning. Therefore, we have established a structure to recognize scholars during this time. Scholars can receive recognition and prizes for:

  • Scholar of the Week
  • Perfect Attendance for the Month
  • Scholar of the Month

Your teachers will continue to provide the criteria on how you can be recognized. 

MAP Testing

MAP make up test will be Tuesday through Thursday of this week. If you have not completed one or more MAP test, your first block teacher will have your make up test zoom link each day. Please be sure to complete your MAP test this week.

ELBC Chromebook  

If you did not get an opportunity to pick up the laptop, please see our new technical support specialist Mr. Thomas jacques.thomas@clayton.k12.ga.us. Additionally, you can make an appointment if you have any problems with your new device. Remember to return your loaner devices as soon as possible. 

Apply for the LHS Computer Science & Mathematics Magnet Program

Open to current 9th-grade and rising 9th-grade scholars. The deadline to complete and submit your Magnet Program Application is Friday, December 4, 2020.  Please note that all supporting documentation (if required) and recommendations must be completed by the December 4th deadline.  Please be sure to give yourself enough time to secure the needed documents as well as ensure teachers have completed the online recommendation forms.

ADAP Forms 

If you have completed and taken the Alcohol and Drug Awareness Program (ADAP) Test in Health class at Lovejoy High School, please click on the request form on the Lovejoy HS Website. If you have met the criteria for passing the test and received a certificate, you will receive the certificate in 48-72 hours via email. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSercXtkqXW1iPowcBchl0bjdrtlMPDir9azcwmhfpDI7_Pewg/viewform?usp=sf_link 

The Return to Facilities Survey 

We at CCPS are asking our parents/guardians/caregivers and our employees to take a few minutes to respond to a short survey about returning to school facilities. The responses received will be tremendously helpful as we continue to evolve the 2020-2021 school year to best suit the needs of our students and their families as well as our employees.

Atlanta Community Food Bank  

We are excited to announce that we will serve as a host site again for the Atlanta Community Food Bank. All families are able to receive fresh food every Friday between 12:00 am and 2:00 pm. by the stadium behind the school.
