Mrs. Terry Colbert is an experienced and dedicated educational leader with 23 years of experience in education. She currently serves as the Assistant Principal at Lovejoy High School. With a passion for fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, Mrs. Colbert brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role.
Mrs. Colbert holds an Educational Specialist Degree in Curriculum, Instruction, Assessment and Leadership from Nova Southeastern University, a Master of Science in Curriculum & Instruction from Walden University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Southern University. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to student success and academic excellence. She firmly believes that every student has the potential to thrive and make a positive impact on the world.
With a collaborative and student-centered approach, Mrs. Colbert actively collaborates with teachers, staff, students, and parents to create a supportive and engaging school community. She’s dedicated to promoting a culture of continuous improvement, where all stakeholders are encouraged to work together to achieve academic and personal growth.
Mrs. Colbert is driven by a deep sense of purpose and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of students. Her leadership, dedication, and commitment to educational excellence makes her a valuable asset to Lovejoy High School.
Mrs. Colbert is a member of Georgia Association of Educators and the Professional Association of Georgia Educators. In her spare time, Mrs. Colbert enjoys exercising and watching sports. She’s married and has two children and two grandchildren.
