Mr. Joel Mobley, 9th Grade (A-K)
Mr. Joel Mobley has been part of the Lovejoy High School community since 2015. Throughout the years, he has served the school as a History and Special Education teacher, ESOL teacher, Assistant Principal, and coach for various sports, such as baseball, softball, cross-country, swim, golf, and football.
Before starting his career in education, Mr. Mobley proudly served in the United States Navy for four years. He holds an Associate's degree from Columbia College, a Bachelor's degree in History from Clayton State University, a Master's degree in Special Education from Columbus State University, and a Specialist degree in Secondary Education from the University of West Georgia. Currently, he is pursuing his Ed.D. in Special Education at Liberty University.
Aside from his professional commitments, Mr. Mobley enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two children. His hobbies include fishing, hiking, and carpentry. Mr. Mobley is dedicated to fostering a supportive and enriching environment for all students at Lovejoy High School.
Mr. Dwayne Boddie, 9th Grade (L-Z)
Dwayne Boddie is an educator and leader deeply dedicated to empowering students and fostering positive change within educational institutions. With over 10 years of experience in education, he has honed his skills as an innovative educator, mentor, and advocate for educational excellence.
Mr. Boddie's journey in education began with a strong belief in the transformative power of learning. He holds a Masters degree in the art of teaching and a tier 1 certification in educational leadership from Georgia State University, which provided him with a solid academic foundation.
As a leader in education, Mr. Boddie focuses on inspiring and guiding both students and fellow educators. He has successfully coached and mentored teachers across various experience levels, leading to significant improvements in student achievement data within Clayton County public schools over several consecutive years. These experiences underscore the importance of collaboration, effective communication, and setting a vision for educational success.
He believes strongly in education beyond the classroom and actively forges partnerships with local businesses, universities, and organizations to provide resources, mentorship opportunities, and internships for students, aiming to create a holistic and enriching learning environment.
Mr. Boddie's teaching philosophy revolves around promoting inclusivity, diversity, and equity in education. Mr. Antonio Speed is honored to serve as the Assistant Principal at Lovejoy High School. With a background in educational leadership and a commitment to student success, I strive to create a supportive and dynamic learning environment. My journey in education has been marked by a focus on fostering collaboration among staff, implementing data-driven strategies, and ensuring a positive school culture. Together with the school community, I aim to contribute to the growth and achievement of our students. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and staying involved in community initiatives that promote education and well-being.
Ms. Quinnisha Marion, 11th Grade
Ms. Quinnisha Marion, a dedicated educator with a passion for academic excellence and student development, began her journey in education as an English teacher with Baltimore County Public Schools in 2009. Since entering education, Ms. Marion has held various roles including roles as a special education teacher, gifted teacher. instructional coach and, currently, as an Assistant Principal at Lovejoy High School with Clayton County Public Schools. .
Born and raised across several states, Ms. Marion developed an early love for literature and language. This passion led them to pursue a Bachelor's degree in English from the illustrious Spelman College in 2006. After graduating from Spelman College, she enrolled in a MAT in Secondary Education with a concentration in English at Mercer University.
Ms. Marion joined Clayton County Public Schools in 2013 as an English teacher at Charles R. Drew High School, where she quickly became known for their innovative teaching methods and ability to inspire students and work closely with teachers.
After several successful years in the classroom, Ms. Marion transitioned into the role of an instructional coach. In this capacity, they worked closely with teachers across various disciplines, providing guidance, resources, and professional development opportunities aimed at enhancing instructional practices and student learning outcomes. Her expertise in curriculum development and pedagogical strategies earned them the respect and admiration of her colleagues, administrators, and district leaders.
Driven by a desire to contribute to broader educational leadership, she pursued her leadership certification from Columbus State University. Armed with this advanced knowledge and their extensive classroom experience, she transitioned into administration as an Assistant Principal at Jonesboro High School. .
In her current role, Ms. Marion is committed to fostering a positive school culture that prioritizes academic achievement, student well-being, and community engagement. She is known for her approachable demeanor, strong communication skills, and ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and students alike.
Outside of their professional responsibilities, Ms. Marion enjoys reading, participating in community service projects with her beloved sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, spending time with her family, and completing her doctoral program at Columbus State University. They continue to be inspired by the transformative power of education and are dedicated to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed.

Mrs. Terry Colbert, 12th Grade
Mrs. Terry Colbert is a dedicated and enthusiastic educator who has recently transitioned into the role of assistant principal after 24 successful years as a teacher. With a strong foundation in classroom instruction and a passion for educational leadership, she is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of students, teachers, and the school community.
In her role as assistant principal, she strives to create a supportive and collaborative school culture that fosters academic excellence and personal growth. Mrs. Colbert believes in the power of building strong relationships with teachers, students and parents, understanding that open lines of communication are vital in creating a positive learning environment. Her goal is to create a school environment that encourages continuous improvement and provides teachers with the necessary resources and support to excel in their roles.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, she’s actively involved in the community. She believes in the importance of giving back and regularly volunteers to support various community initiatives. Mrs. Colbert believes that engaging with the community fosters a sense of unity and shared responsibility for student success. In her spare time, she enjoys exercising and spending time with her family.
