 Theme: "Clue In to School Breakfast"

Overview

National School Breakfast Week (NSBW) is an opportunity to celebrate the importance of a nutritious breakfast and encourage students to participate in school breakfast programs. This year’s theme, "Clue in to School Breakfast," uses mystery and detective-themed activities to engage K-12 students. The plan includes themed days, creative menu items, decorations, and promotional activities that are fun and easy to execute in a school cafeteria setting.

Breakfast for Lunch: Top Secret Chicken Tenders & Who Dunnit Waffles 
Mission: Create your very own Secret Agent Code Name to use during Mission: Breakfast Possible. Then, use your code-breaking skills to solve the Top Secret Breakfast Mission.
 

Tuesday: "Cereal Quest"

Agent Crackshell (Breakfast Buddy Egg)

Mission: "Attention, Cereal Spies! A breakfast bandit has stolen the secret recipe for the ultimate cereal mix! The only way to retrieve it is to decode the clues and identify the six cereals in the breakfast vault. Write your answers on your spy pad (paper) to crack the code and save breakfast!"

Wednesday: "Case of the Disappearing Pop-Tart Duo" -  Twin Day

Egg MicMuffin Mystery (plain or with Canadian Turkey Bacon)
Clue Crunchers Cereal Bowl (Cereals of the Day: Honey Nut Cheerios & Blueberry Chex)
Disappearing Pop-Tart Duo

Suspect Hash Rounds
Blueberries & Bananas (students can top the clue crunchers cereal bowl)

Mission: The Pop-Tart Duo has vanished! To crack the case, students will dress up as twins to blend in and search for clues.
 

Thursday: "Dutch Waffle Files"

Interrogation Smoothie
Clue Crackers
Double-0-Egg (hard-boiled egg)

Mission: "Today's case involves a tasty twist! Detective Toast is on the case, to find a thief with a sticky face. With sausage links and blueberry stains, who took the breakfast, causing pains?

Clues are scattered, easy to deduce, in the cereal, the smoothie, and even the juice. Find the suspect, solve the crime, It’s breakfast adventure time!

 

Friday: "Miraculous Mission Complete Celebration" -  Dress Up Day
    Breakfast Menu:
Mini Pancake Bites (or Pancake Perpetrators)
Mystery Munch Cereal
Case Closed Overnight Oats Parfait
Undercover Egg (hard-boiled egg)

Mission: Mission Accomplished! Celebrate the final day by dressing up as your favorite Miraculous Ladybug or secret agent character.
