11th Grade Students!

We are delighted to share the District ACT Test Day information with you as you embark on this a significant milestone in your academic career.

Please click here CCPS District ACT Test Day to view the District ACT webinar in English. The presentation with links to information about the District ACT Test is attached to this email. The District ACT Test is the same ACT, but offered during the school day.

CCPS is paying for all 11th grade students who are interested in taking the ACT to test on October 23rd, 2024 at your home school. Click this link to register for this test: https://forms.gle/wALifnxehKrKMvck7
National Test Dates are given on Saturdays, and students sign up on their own. Contact your school counselor about these dates and process.

WAIVER INFORMATION: Many of you have requested SAT and ACT waivers. If you already have a SAT College Board account SAT provides two free waivers automatically on the account.

NOTE: the 23-24 ACT waiver expires August 31st. If you need assistance with the SAT and in need of the ACT,
please stop by the Counselor Suite this week.

NOTE: the ACT 24-25 waivers will be coming soon. Also, for SAT and ACT tutorial please see Mr. Lorenzo Robinson on the 900 hallway.

PSAT

PSAT Administration Day is quickly approaching.
This year the administration will be completely online.
All 9th, 10th, and select 11th grade students will take the assessment on October 23, 2024.

In preparation for PSAT test day, I need all Educators to complete the following tasks by the date identified for each task.

Use the link below to create a College Board account. If you already have a College Board account, use the link to ensure you can still log in. DUE by 3:45 on Friday, September 13, 2024

- Create Account ---> Educator
- Once you create your account or confirm you can login, click this Google Form and input the information used to create the account
Login to your College Board account and complete the PSAT Training: DUE by 3:45 on Monday, September 30, 2024.
- Click "My Dashboard"
- Click "Test Administration Training for the SAT Suite of Assessments"
- Click " In-School assessment (SAT School Day/PSAT-related assessment)"
- Enter the name -- be sure to select the Lovejoy High School in Georgia
- Select BOTH PSAT 8/9 & PSAT NMSQT
- Everyone should select "Proctor"
Submit your certificate to the following Google Folder: DUE by 3:45 on Monday, September 30, 2024.
