Updates
Greetings Parents and Guardians,
This message is to inform you of an updated safety protocol that will go into effect beginning Monday, May 12, 2025.
Backpack/Large Bag Protocol Update – Effective May 12th
Beginning May 12th, no backpacks or large bags will be allowed on campus for Middle and High School students. This includes backpacks, handbags, and lunch boxes that do not meet specific size requirements. While this message will be reinforced with students daily, we ask that you also remind your scholar of this change in preparation for next week.
Acceptable bags (if necessary) must be between 5.5 to 16 inches in width, 5.5 to 14 inches in height, and 2 to 6 inches in depth. Any bags exceeding these dimensions will not be permitted. We recognize that this may pose some inconvenience, but the safety and security of all students and staff remain our top priority.
Each school will have a plan in place for student-athletes who are currently in-season or participating in organized team workouts.
Additional Reminders - Please continue to:
-
Check your scholar’s belongings daily to ensure they are not in possession of prohibited items.
-
Monitor your child’s use of social media and participation in group chats.
-
Encourage responsible behavior both in and outside of school.
Thank you for your continued partnership in keeping our school community safe, focused, and supported as we bring the school year to a strong close.
